The Archives is hosting Julie Hanus, senior editor of American Craft magazine. She will present a lecture on artists who are leading the way by engaging the community. We'll examine the roots of "social practice" in art, why ceramics is especially suited to this pursuit, and explore compelling examples of this community-driven art form, including some published in the pages of American Craft. Julie will also be available to answer questions about American Craft and the magazine-making process.
