As part of Octavofest, a regional celebration of Book and Paper Arts, ICA is offering a hands-on encapsulation workshop. Encapsulation is a simple and cost effective way to protect works on paper from wear and tear due to handling. It can also help keep fragile pieces together and make family documents accessible. This workshop will teach participants how to encapsulate their own paper objects safely. Proper materials, environment and handling methods will be discussed.
