This powerful exhibition of black-and-white photographs from the Center for Documentary Expression and Art offers visitors a stirring look at turmoil and triumphs during a critical moment in the country’s history. This Light of Ours exposes the struggle against race-based disenfranchisement through the works of nine photographers who lived and worked within the Southern Freedom Movement and documented the experiences of the local people and student activists who stood up to change America.
