In this class, we will make sheets of paper expressly to transform them into books. You will learn how to make Western paper with cotton and abaca as well as how to plan sheet size to prepare for bookbinding. On the second day, you will use these papers to make book structures that range from a single-sheet flexagon to accordions to a simple sewn binding. You will leave with papers, books and new techniques to make and use both.

Pricing: $135 (early registration cost until April 15th), $150 (after early registration discount period is over)
