Cleveland artist Cathie Bleck has received international recognition for her singular works in scratchboard and kaolin clay board. Her stylized, organic forms—rooted in themes of evolution, transformation, and fragility—are carved and scraped through multiple layers of inks and handmade pigments, revealing the white of the kaolin clay beneath. Heights Arts spotlight exhibition reveals the captivating progression of Cathie’s technique in various media. Opening reception: Friday, March 18, 6-9pm.
