Job Description

The Arts Program Director of Cleveland School of the Arts will serve as an integral member of the school leadership team, responsible for: Managing and supporting the arts faculty Develop and implement an engaging arts program Manage the day to day operations of the Arts Program Monitoring the arts education program to ensure that the school is fulfilling its mission Design and implementation of professional development activities for arts faculty Manage arts curriculum, courses, policies and procedures to determine appropriateness, effectiveness and adherence to the School’s mission Attend student productions, concerts, recitals, and performances both on and off campus, to the greatest extent possible Establish and maintain a working relationship with arts organizations and with arts departments at institutions of higher learning Collaborate with leadership team to implement the school’s redesign Oversee the Auditions and Admissions process Schedule and facilitate typical sites visits (including but not limited to student shadowing, school visits, and dignitary) Manage Arts Program budget Manage inventory of arts program materials Facilitate team meetings Support other school leadership team members by sharing in student supervisory duties Other duties as assigned by the Head of School
