Job Description

The Habitat Restoration Technician is a six month, part-time, grant funded position based out of an office and shop in Painesville, Ohio. The Habitat Restoration Technician provides on-the-ground support for the Sustain our Great Lakes (SOGL) funded project ‘Mentor Marsh Invasive Plant Species Control, Ohio.’ The Habitat Restoration Technician will work with Museum staff, the Mentor Marsh Habitat Restoration Manager, contractors and project partners to develop best management practices and strategic plans for invasive species control and habitat restoration at the 765-acre Mentor Marsh State Nature Preserve.
