Steven A. Minter Reappointed to CAC Board of Trustees: Founding Trustee & Former Chair Sworn in for Third Term 14. June 2011 Administrator News Release Cleveland (June 14, 2011) - In May, County Executive Ed Fitzgerald nominated Steven A. Minter for reappointment to a third term on the Cuyahoga Arts & Culture board of trustees, and after confirmation by the County Council, he was sworn in for a third term at the CAC board meeting on June 13. A long-time arts supporter, Minter was an influential leader during the county-wide ballot initiative that created CAC as a dedicated funding source for the County’s nonprofit arts and culture sector.In his letter to the County Council recommending the reappointment, the County Executive stated, “Mr. Minter he has served ably on the [CAC] board since its establishment … I believe that his involvement has been extremely beneficial to our County and I welcome his continued willingness to serve on this important body.”“Steve’s reappointment is welcome news to all of his fellow trustees,” said current CAC board president Sari Feldman. “I have worked with Steve on this board for two years now, and I have come to appreciate his keen insight and perspective. His contributions are invaluable.”Since its first round of grant funding in 2008, CAC has become the largest public funder of arts and culture in the State of Ohio and among the top local public funders in the nation.
