City of Cleveland's "Mural My Neighborhood" Program
Each summer the City of Cleveland’s “Mural My Neighborhood” program teams young Cleveland artists with professional muralists, community leaders, and business owners to create beautiful, uplifting murals depicting civic pride, vibrant city life, and visions of hope in neighborhoods around the city.
Participating youth develop visual arts skills under the guidance of professional muralists and study the impact of murals on neighborhoods in Cleveland and around the country.
The program focuses on helping youth to develop leadership skills, pride, diligence, and civic responsibility as they engage in a process of neighborhood beautification.
