CLEVELAND (February 9, 2009)–The board of trustees of Cuyahoga Arts and Culture (CAC) today announced it had accepted the resignation of CAC executive director Catherine Boyle effective February 4, 2009. CAC trustees have named Meg Harris, the organization’s director of administration, the group’s interim executive director.

Their efforts have laid a solid foundation for the work ahead–a foundation that is fundamental to the future of this organization and to its capacity to positively impact the health and quality of the growing creative community to which Northeast Ohio is home.”
Ms. Boyle said, “I leave confident that in the years ahead, Cuyahoga County residents will continue to benefit from the increased access to and appreciation for our local arts and cultural treasures that the hard work over these past two years has fostered.”
Mr. Minter said the board plans a thorough and comprehensive search for Ms. Boyle’s permanent successor –and that details pertaining to it will be forthcoming.
