2009 Project Support Grant Panel Review Scores Announced

Thursday May 14—Cuyahoga Arts and Culture (CAC) today announced the scores received by eligible applicants for its 2009 Project Support grant program at the public Grant Application Panel Review held on April 29 and 30 at the Idea Center in Downtown Cleveland.

A panel of eight arts and cultural professionals and a non-voting panel chair appointed by the CAC Board of Trustees met to review eligible applications. Each eligible application was deliberated and scored by the panel. The Panel scored on a point scale. The total number of points received could be as high as 100 or as low as 0. The Olympian Method was used to reach an aggregate panel score for each applicant.

CAC’s 2009 Project Support grant guidelines state that any applicant receiving a score below 70 is ineligible for PS grant funding. Applicants scoring from 70 to 100 points will be eligible for PS funding.

Grant Awards to be announced on June 9, 2009

On June 9, 2009, the CAC Board of Trustees will meet to approve 2009 PS Grant awards. Grant award amounts will be available as soon as the CAC Board has voted approval.
