Know the Facts: How Cuyahoga Arts & Culture Invests in the Arts

Last week, Cuyahoga Arts & Culture’s Board of Trustees unanimously approved spending $10.2 million for the General Operating Support (GOS) grant program in 2018-2019. That vote was taken at a public meeting, and it followed months of discussions with arts groups and public pronouncements signaling the funding level. Cuyahoga Arts & Culture Supports Free Summer Arts Events in Public Square

CLEVELAND (April 27, 2017) – This summer, Cuyahoga County residents and visitors to Public Square in downtown Cleveland will be able to enjoy a variety of free arts and culture events thanks to Arts & Culture in the Square, a program to bring additional programming to downtown Cleveland’s outdoor Public Square. CAC Receives Clean Audit for Seventh Consecutive Year

Ohio Auditor of State Finds No Deficiencies in CAC Financial Audit.

For the seventh year in a row, Cuyahoga Arts & Culture’s annual financial review by the Ohio Auditor of State has resulted in a clean audit report available on the Auditor of State’s website. For its fiscal year 2013, Cuyahoga Arts & Culture (CAC) was awarded the highest rating and the Auditor of State Award, which includes no findings for “recovery, material citations, material weaknesses, significant deficiencies, Single Audit findings or questioned costs.” Each year since CAC was created by the voters of Cuyahoga County, it has achieved a clean audit report.
