CCCCA Promotes Multi-Cultural Exchange Through Arts & Culture

Founded in 1995, the Cleveland Contemporary Chinese Culture Association (CCCCA) is a volunteer-based nonprofit that works to promote the understanding of eastern and western cultures through culture exchange programs.

For the past 20 years, CCCCA has provided language and art classes to thousands of Cuyahoga County residents. Each weekend, nearly 500 people--of all ages and ethnic groups--come together to learn traditional Chinese culture, language and skills. These educational experiences include painting, dancing, martial arts and more.

CCCCA also sponsors many Chinese performing art troupes who tour the greater Cleveland area to entertain and promote a better understanding of modern Chinese art and culture. CCCCA has received support for these performances from the residents of Cuyahoga County through Cuyahgoa Arts & Culture's Project Support program since 2013.

On Sunday, February 15, 2015, CCCCA will mark 20 years of providing programs and multi-cultural exchange with a celebration and Chinese New Year event. The celebration will feature Chinese performance art, cuisine, games, dancing and more.
