A resident of Cleveland, Leonard DiCosimo is the Executive Secretary of the North Shore AFL-CIO Federation of Labor and the former President of the Cleveland Federation of Musicians, Local 4 AFM.

He is appointed to serve through March 31, 2027.

Leonard DiCosimo is the Executive Secretary of the North Shore AFL-CIO Federation of Labor, the organized voice for approximately 85,000 members in 150 local unions representing a wide variety of public and private sector workers. 
 
Previously, Leonard served as the President of the Cleveland Federation of Musicians, Local 4 AFM, representing professional musicians in Cuyahoga and Lorain Counties. He also was the choral director at Lakeland Community College for six years, and was an adjust professor of conducting at Baldwin Wallace for eight years. He directed choral ensembles, music directed stage productions, and taught a variety of conducting classes.

Leonard writes songs and has released two collections titled "Systematic Tales" and Where We Are." He has performed as an associate artist for Cleveland Opera on Tour; a chorister for Cleveland Opera, Pittsburgh Opera, and the Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh; a bassist for productions at Playhouse Square, Cleveland Play House, and Great Lakes Theatre Festival; and supported a wide array of talent, ranging from Phyllis Diller to the Fat Boys.
