Data at Work: Introduction to DataArts Analytic Tools with SMU DataArts

Tuesday, June 25th at 12 pm

Once you have completed a Cultural Data Profile, the SMU DataArts platform offers a wealth of tools and research utilizing your data. This webinar will cover recent research reports that illuminate sector-wide trends. We’ll also cover the basics of running analytic reports on your data, whether you want to run a trend report to see changes at your organization over time or a comparison report to benchmark against a group of peer organizations. Finally, we’ll provide an overview of the KIPI Dashboard and other free tools offered through SMU DataArts.

Getting Started with the Cultural Data Profile

Attendees will learn how to participate in SMU DataArts' online platform for data collection, produce reports, and gain insights into the cultural sector. This session includes the basics of how to complete the Cultural Data Profile (CDP), how to apply to participating grantmakers using the system, and how to access DataArts’ free analytics and educational opportunities. This session is ideal for users new to the Cultural Data Profile.
