Updates from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture's December 15th Board of Trustees Meeting

Cuyahoga Arts & Culture's Board of Trustees held a regular meeting on Wednesday, December 15. Here are key updates from the public meeting, which took place at Cuyahoga County Public Library's Warrensville Heights branch, and was streamed live on CAC's YouTube channel.  

Board Update 
CAC swore in Karolyn Isenhart, who was recently appointed to the Board of Trustees. 

Grantmaking 
CAC approved:
  • Grants to Neighborhood Connections and ioby to support resident-led arts and culture activities in 2022.
  • Grants to Julia de Burgos Cultural Arts Center, Karamu House, and SPACES to support artists in 2022.

Finance CAC shared a year-to-date financial update, approved the 2022 budget and other administrative matters.

Other Business Assembly for the Arts shared an update about its efforts, along with CAC, to advocate for ARPA funding for the local creative economy.
