Administrative Matters:
- Finance Report: The Board received a report on tax receipts, which are running 8% lower than the same period in 2018. CAC staff said Board and staff will continue to work on projections and expect to lower the grant program allocations for 2022 as revenue continues to decline.
- Executive Director Search: Trustee and Search Team Liaison Gary Hanson also provided an update on the search for CAC's next executive director. He reported the search firm and volunteer search committee team to review resumes. Trustee Hanson noted the Board remains confident in the interim leadership and the work of the staff.
- Strategic Alliance: Board and staff discussed that CAC, Arts Cleveland (formerly CPAC) and Arts and Culture Action Committee (political action committee) have hired a firm to build an alliance and identify ways the three organizations can work better together for the benefit of residents and arts organizations.
