What to Expect: Cuyahoga Arts & Culture's April 15 Board Meeting

Cuyahoga Arts & Culture’s Board of Trustees will hold its annual meeting on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at 4 p.m. In accordance with recent changes to Ohio law in response to COVID-19, CAC's Board of Trustees meeting will be held electronically.

A link to view the meeting live stream will be available here prior to the event. The public may submit comments regarding items on the meeting agenda by Noon on April 15 through an online form.

Here's what you can expect. At the meeting, the agency will:
  • Ask the Board of Trustees to approve changes to the 2020 grant agreements in order to accelerate grant payments as necessary. These contract modifications allow CAC to be flexible and immediately responsive to the needs of our grantees in this time of crisis.
  • Seek Board approval for $125,000 in capacity building grants and $190,000 in Support for Artist grants.
  • Seek Board approval of the 2021 Project Support grant guidelines.
  • The Board will also receive an update on the strategic partnership work with Arts Cleveland and Arts and Culture Action Committee.
